Sleman – At the Foot of Mount Merapi and Prambanan Temple
Sleman se trouve dans la partie nord de Yogyakarta Special Region, directly at the foot of Mount Merapi (2,930 m). Its capital is Sleman. The region is home to the Prambanan Hindu temple complex (UNESCO World Heritage), and is également Yogyakarta’s university centre – Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Indonesia’s most prestigious university, est situé here.
