Lumajang – At the Foot of Mount Semeru and Tumpak Sewu Waterfall
Lumajang se trouve dans the southern-central part of East Java province. Its capital is Lumajang city. The region sits at the southern foot of Mount Semeru (3,676 m, Java’s highest peak) and is home to the magnifique Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.

Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is one of Java’s most magnifique cascades: hundreds of water strands cascade le long de a semicircular cliff face – the “thousand cascades”. Ranu Pane and Ranu Regulo montagne lakes are the starting points for the Semeru trek. Mount Semeru (Gunung Semeru) is Java’s roof – an active volcan, the trek requires a registered guide and permit. B29 panoramic viewpoint is a famous photo spot for Semeru coucher de soleils. Pura Mandara Giri Semeru Hindu temple lies at the volcan’s foot.
