Sukra – Coastal corridor district in Indramayu Regency, West Java
Sukra is a kecamatan in Indramayu Regency, on the north coast of West Java province on Java's Pantura corridor. Indramayu sits on the broad alluvial plain between the Cirebon area and the Subang–Karawang industrial belt, and is one of West Java's most important rice-producing regencies, as well as a major centre of brackish-water fishponds (tambak), salt pans and small-scale fisheries. The regency is also strongly identified with the Indramayu mango (mangga Indramayu), which is well-known across Java. Sukra lies in the western part of the regency, close to the boundary with Subang, in a landscape of paddy fields, fishponds and the Pantura highway corridor that has shaped settlement and trade for generations.
