Bone – Ancient Land of the Bugis Seafarers in South Sulawesi

The Bone Sultanate Museum (Museum La Pawawoi) displays royal relics and Bugis history. Along the Bone Bay shore, Tanjung Palette plage is a popular weekend getaway with calm waters and récifs coralliens close to shore. Mampu Forest (Hutan Mampu) is a community forestry model where thék plantations and natural forest coexist in harmony – eco-tourism walks are available.
