Deli Serdang – Sultanate Heritage and Plantations at Medan's Doorstep
Deli Serdang se trouve dans North Sumatra province, directly neighbouring Medan city. The region is the territory of the former Deli Sultanate – pendant the colonial era, it was l'un des world's richest tobacco and plantation areas. Today Deli Serdang is the gateway towards Lake Toba and offre rich natural and cultural attractions.

Sipiso-piso Waterfall (120 m) on Lake Toba's northern shore is one of North Sumatra's most spectaculaire natural wonders – plunging straight depuis the cliff into the lake.
