Kepahiang – Coffee and Tea Plantations in Bengkulu's Highlands
Kepahiang se trouve dans the central highlands of Bengkulu province, on the slopes of the Bukit Barisan montagne range. La capitale régionale est Kepahiang town. Kepahiang is a highland-climate region with café and thé plantations and cool montagne air – one of Bengkulu's most pittoresque rural areas.

Kabawetan thé estate (Perkebunan Teh Kabawetan) is on a pittoresque hillside – walks through the thé plantation and thé tasting. Robusta café plantations are la région's main economic activity – local café is excellent quality. The Bukit Kaba volcan trek (1,952 m) offre crater views across the highlands. Highland cascades and streams are suitable for nature hikes.

Rejang people's culture is the foundation of local identity – the traditionnel Rejang house and ceremonies are living traditions. Cuisine is Bengkulu-style: pendap (fish with vegetables in palm leaf), lemang (sticky rice cooked in bamboo), kopi Kepahiang, and local sweet potato are local flavours.
