Terraced rice fields around Lemahneundeut and Argapura provide picturesque Sundanese landscapes. Panyaweuyan terraced landscape is Majalengka’s most photographed site. Local markets offer Sundanese products.

Culture and Cuisine

Sundanese culture is defining: kecapi suling (traditional instrument) and jaipong dance are part of cultural life. Cuisine is Sundanese: nasi timbel, karedok (raw vegetable salad in peanut sauce), empal gentong (beef curry).
