Bukit Raya is one of Kalimantan's more challenging expedition destinations. The full summit ascent requires several days and appropriate equipment for highland conditions including cold temperatures, rain and rough terrain. Guides from the Ot Danum communities are essential – both for safety and for the community permission required to access traditional lands.
