Reban is accessed via mountain roads from Limpung or Bawang, with travel times of one to two hours depending on road conditions and rainfall. During the wet season, mudslides and road damage can disrupt access for days at a time. There is no reliable public transport; motorcycle ojeks are the standard mode of hired travel. The district has a basic health clinic and primary schools, but secondary education and hospital care require travel to the lowlands. Electricity is available but subject to interruptions.
